The Verses of Parallel Journies Poem the First: Damaged When you want to bleed you Reach out for the pain. Sincerity in every motion, red runnels of desperation The heart weeps tears of blood. When the cuts are too deep you are too much in pain No artifice can disguise, no mask worn can hide The soul in tangled tatters. When you want to bleed you Are beginning then to heal. Life yet is where blood flows, and where life is hope yet grows And there's work yet to be done. When the cuts are too deep you Can't see beyond the break Though the Universe goes on, you are stopped and broken, lost Cold and still are the dead and dying. ~finis~*************

Gentle Reader,
My PadaWan, kriski, is writing a series just now. Hopefully you've read the first two installments. What you now have before you is the first installment of a series of poems written as companion pieces for that as-yet-untitled series. While you could probably read either series without the other, my hope is that these poems add to your enjoyment of kriski's series. I'm fairly certain these bits and snippets aren't going to seem all that Jedi without her stories to go with them. Feedback greatly appreciated, flames stored for emergency use during the nuclear winter.
